Sword of the Phoenix will be closing its doors at the end of August.
We no longer have enough business to support a sizable, well-stocked store like ours.
After 28 years, we would like to extend a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who was a part of our history, especially to those customers who valued the shopping experience enough to literally support us these past few months. You guys are terrific.
Most of our inventory will be sold at a discount starting this week. The discount will vary according to the type of product. We already have most of our miniatures marked down below cost. Don't wait until the last moment expecting a final blow out. Come by now; you won't be disappointed.
Our store fixtures will also be up for sale. If you know anyone in the business or would just like to have a classy display case at home, be sure to contact us.
Finally, let me personally take a minute to remind everyone of the fun that paper-based games can provide both young and old. Nothing will ever replace gathering around a table to launch a new board game or a new role-playing adventure. Those are moments that bring people together.
Being in a business that helped provide those joyous moments was a privilege for which I am forever grateful.
Dan Ackerman,
Sword of the Phoenix
